Zumba Christmas party and awards night:
Friday 9th December at The British Legion, 40, Ryecroft Road, Frampton Cotterell, BS36 2HW.
Doors open 7:30pm for and 8pm start. Tickets £10 inc buffet. Buy online (see look below) or at any class (cash or card).

Come and join us for our annual Christmas party and awards night to celebrate dancing together for another year. Join the other ladies (and Nigel) for a social evening of drinks, chat’s, laughs, music and dancing (of course). It’s a chance to dress up and get together outside of class and make new Zumba friends. As always, this event is only open to our amazing Zumba peeps, no plus ones so we can include as many of you as possible. We are limiting numbers so everyone can have a space to dance the night away. Entrance tickets are available online by clicking on the photo below (or purchase at class) for £10 which also includes a buffet. Doors open at 7:30pm, for an 8pm start and the party finishes at 11:30pm. I won’t spoil the surprise but there will be something with pom poms to try!

Wear something you feel great in and ditch the leggings and trainers. There will be some party dancing so wear flats or brings something suitable to dance in. Don’t worry, it’s not like a full on Zumba class, more of a social disco to our fave tunes and we’ll throw in some Zumba moves. For some reason they always look better after a glass of wine!

Christmas Jumper classes:
Week commencing Monday 12th December. Wear your fave festive t-shirt or jumper or grab some tinsel! Last class of the year is Monday 19th December.

Sunday roast and free talk with Tracey afterwards – “10 superpowers for a healthier new year”:
Meeting on Sunday 29th January at the Lawns Pub in Yate (opposite St Marys School). Midday -3pm. This must be pre-booked. The roast dinner is (currently) £9.95, there are veggie options available. We will be in the private function room upstairs with 20 spaces available. Book you space with a £5 cash deposit (or request our bank details) . The balance can be paid on the day directly to the pub.  It’s something lovely to look forward to after Christmas and you’ll hopefully take away some tools and inspiration to make 2023 your year. After enjoying lunch other and catching up, you’ll be able to find our more about simple and cheap ways you can improve your health, lose/maintain weight and generally feel better. They’ll be chance for a Q & A with Tracey too.

Torquay Zumba road trip:
Friday 6th October to Sunday 8th October 2023. We are going have a lot of fun revisiting the Balmoral hotel! Prices for 2023 are from £150 per person sharing a double or twin or £220 per person, single occupancy in a double room. Some of the rooms have an additional cost of between £10 and £50 per room for the whole weekend, for a premium room/sea view etc. I have the chart of rooms so can let you know what’s available. Get in early to have the best choice of rooms. It’s just a £50 pp deposit (paid directly too the hotel) to secure your spot. Please see me first to allocate your room number/type and then you can call the hotel with the room number to make the booking yourself.  Call Alex at the hotel on Weds -Sun between 10am-4pm on 01803 293381 to pay (don’t forget to tell him your room number).

We have until the start of March to try and fill the hotels 25 rooms. If we don’t, it doesn’t matter, we just can’t use any of the public rooms for a  Zumba class. We didn’t have the full hotel last time (we were 6 rooms short due to Covid cancellations), but will still has a great time and the other guests joined in with our bingo and quiz (we weren’t allowed to dance at the time). This time, I’m sure we will be on the dance floor!

This price includes 2 nights accommodation, cream tea on arrival, cooked breakfast and a yummy 5 course meal on both nights AND a Sunday lunch before departing. It’s such great value and last time the food was amazing (the bar was cheap too). If you have any questions about how it all works just ask, I love our Zumba trips!  Everyone is responsible for getting themselves there/back. Try to share lifts or you can even take the train/coach. There is free parking at/near the hotel.

There’s lots to see and do in the area and if you haven’t been to Torquay before we can recommend some lovely places to visit and you are welcome to join any of the planned outings. There is a great bar for drinks after dinner. Last time the hotel put on some entertainment and we had some great nights in the lounge together.
